Village Chair Opened Yesterday!
It was awesome to see so many people loving the laps of the Village Chair yesterday, and there'll be more fun to be had out there today. The fun may be a little damper than ideal, but the turns will be soft and forgiving.
We've had another 8 cm in the past 24 hours, however it warmed overnight and the precipitation is very borderline as I write this. The current temp is right on zero, (the forecast top for the day), and the wind is a strong northwesterly which may increase further during the morning. The wind may impact the upper lift operations again today, so keep an eye on the status of your preferred lifts.
Rug up in your most weatherproof garments and get out there for some exhilerating laps!
Cheers Bill

. Well the storm did roll in and we had 10 to 15 cms yesterday with a little more last night. It did turn rather warm and damp overnight so no grooming was possible last night. was

The grooming on Sunday, Village down and along Charlies will be quite good however the surface will be soft and wet. You should be pretty much protected from the wind on the trails. Rug up and give it a go. Call into the Wire Plain Hub for a warming drink and snack.
